Fraxel Should Be Done Before or After Fillers?
Fillers After Fraxel
Feb 5, 2013
We recommend that fillers be put in after the Fraxel treatment. It is possible that the thermal injury and inflammation after laser treatment could accelerate the breakdown and absorption of the filler. In addition, the laser treatment would be expected to give some improvement and diminish the amount or location of filling injections needed.
Is This Normal or is my Tattoo Removal Specialist Not Doing a Good Job?
Bleeding and minimal results after tattoo removal
May 21, 2012
The first question I would ask is who is performing the removal? It should be a board-certified dermatologist because they are truly the specialists. The bleeding does not seem normal. I would discuss this with your doctor.
I’ve Recently Had my First Tattoo Removal Laser Session Done and I Have Seen VERY Minimal Results, Is t
Typical results after one laser tattoo removal session
May 21, 2012
Removing a tattoo is a long process with many treatments. You will not begin to see results after one treatment. On some tattoos, it can take between 10-15 treatments to remove a tattoo. It depends on the ink and the settings of the laser. It is important to be patient and give it time.
Red Spot After Laser Treatment for Broken Blood Vessel
Redness from laser for blood vessel takes time to heal
Sep 21, 2011
It would be unusual to use a carbon dioxide (CO2) laser to treat a broken blood vessel on the nose. Most commonly, we use either a pulse dye or KTP laser which specifically targets the red blood and minimizes any damage (burning) of the overlying or surrounding skin. The pink red color of the healing skin is normal and it should get better with time.
Fractional Co2 – Should I Worry About Under Eye Scarring?
Fractional CO2 must be done carefully under the eyes
Sep 21, 2011
Fractional Co2 laser is one of the most effective ways to improve wrinkles under and around the eyes but it must be done carefully and correctly. Make sure the Doctor you are seeing has plenty of training and experience in this type of treatment. Scarring is difficult to correct once it occurs so the best approach is to do your homework ahead of time and make sure you are in good hands when it is time to have the procedure.
Can Sclerotherapy Treat Facial Veins?
Lasers are a better option for facial veins
Aug 25, 2011
Lasers are a better option for facial veins. In my office we use the Vbeam laser which is very effective at treating facial veins.
Sclerotherapy Recovery
There really is no healing/recovery time
Aug 25, 2011
You can go right back to work and everything you have been doing. There is no healing necessary. good luck!
