Can PRP be effective for forehead lines instead of Botox? And crows feet lines. Is it safe to inject the fo
PRP facial vs Botox
Jan 8, 2020
These two treatments can be used individually and can achieve great results for fine wrinkles and crow’s feet. As mentioned before Botox will give immediate results where as PRP takes several weeks and multiple treatments for best results. PRP will build new collagen and will help you achieve a natural face lift. Deep lines and crows feet will respond best to a combination treatment- so if you can afford it, I would recommend getting both done initially.
How long until I see improvement for indented acne scar from deep Microneedling PRP and TCA Cross?
PRP for acne scarring

Deep acne scarring will need injections of PRP to get deeper then microneedling and will also benefit from a PracaSil-Plus, a scar cream offered by many compounding pharmacies.
Is PRP helpful for the 11’s, crows feet and the forehead or is it not meant for that area?
PRP for 11’s , crowsfeet, ,and forehead
Sep 21, 2018
Yes PRP is very helpful for all areas of skin and will reduce and soften lines and tighten the skin after a series of treatments. A topical anesthetic is applied before the treatment that minimizes discomfort. Some individuals are more sensitive then others but most individuals find the procedure very tolerable.
Most of the time, Botox is combined with PRP to give the immediate impact in these common areas of treatment, while letting the PRP take effect over several months.

Can you use PRP under the eyes if you already have filler under the eyes?
PRP use after filler?
Sep 18, 2018
PRP, botox and fillers are often used in conjunction with one another and do offer different benefits. I would not recommend PRP around the eyes and filler at the same time. It can take up to two weeks for fillers to fully settle, so it would not be wise to mess with that process. Regarding nasolabial folds, PRP injections can soften the look of these areas by building new collagen and the best part is that it looks very natural. If the creases are very prominent and deep, filler would…
Is my improvement due to the PRP, the micro-needling or both?
PRP vs microneedling
Sep 18, 2018
Microneedling is responsible for the immediate improvement in your skin as it does help to improve circulation and assists in shedding of old, dead skin. PRP, on the other hand, takes about 4-6 weeks to start working and is strengthened by a series of treatments. PRP results in a more elastic, youthful skin with increased collagen. PRP results in what I like to refer to as a non-surgical facelift.
Can PRP facial injections aggravate acne in the first 4 months after injections?
Acne and PRP
Sep 18, 2018
Doing PRP directly on top of an active acne lesion is probably not the best idea. I would recommend that you treat your acne first or have PRP done around, but not directly on, active acne lesions. With that said, PRP with microneedling is very helpful at reducing scarring from old acne lesions as well as helping to even out pigmentation.

Can you have noticeable results from Microneedling with PRP after only one treatment?
Noticeable results with PRP and Microneedling after one session?
Sep 12, 2018
Yes, microneedling as a treatment in of itself helps to improve blood flow and remove some of the surface layer of skin, giving you an immediate healthy glow the following day. PRP results usually take 4-6 weeks to take effect and are reinforced by a second and even third treatment 4-6 weeks apart.. I like to perform 3 treatments for the facial, neck or chest skin rejuvenation to have the most impact on elasticity of the skin.
