FemiLift: Are there any side effects?
Hmmmm … Yes there are side effects…. worth the side effects? YASSS
Mar 19, 2018
Usually we tell patients that they can expect a watery bloody discharge for about a week then it will lessen. In my experience (over 100 patients), that watery bloody discharge is followed by a true repair of the vaginal mucosa which results in frank bloody discharge…yes, pads of blood. For my Postmenopausal patients this is absolutely freaky. I have to assure them that they are NOT experiencing bleeding from the uterus but ARE experiencing healing of the vagina. I hope, soon,…
FemiLift: Can it Treat Urinary Stress Incontinence?
Amazing results with FemiLift for Stress Urinary Incontinence!
Mar 18, 2018
As OB/GYN’s we are first surgeons, we are all trained to perform repair of the vagina in every way shape and form. Mesh… got it. No mesh… got it. If we are busy Obstetricians, we repair vaginal tears and assess vaginal weaknesses every day to prevent future incontinence problems.
FemiLift for Stress Urinary Incontinence is amazing! Having operated on patients for over 20 years and using Urologists, Proctologists, then Urologic Gynecologists as assistants, I am…
Am I a candidate for FemiLift? I am 23 years old and am insecure about my inner labia.
Long Labia Minora will not be fixed with FemiLift

Surgical intervention is the best fix for your description. I cannot wait until we can offer you a laser treatment for this common problem. I always love to keep patients out of an operating room.
Good Luck!
What are the heat settings for FemiLift laser. Is there a heat setting protocol for each session
Think of yourself as unique and valuable: Treatments must be individualized to YOU!
Mar 18, 2018
Agree with Dr. Pelosi! The ALMA treatment protocols are developed to prevent burning your vagina with a laser. It is the physicians obligation, in using this amazing tool, to provide you with maximum results using the least amount of burning, pain, side effects. Please don’t ask for higher settings, have a frank dialogue with your Provider to discuss which settings you can tolerate. We ALWAYS perform a test before we start. You can also get a record of the settings you…
FemiLift – does it really work? And for how long?
Yes! You will get better soon!

Please look through all of these extremely qualified professional responses. In my experience, if I cannot find a surgically correctable defect on physical examination, then, YES, you will respond to the FemiLift. In addition, Crossfit offers it’s own unique challenges for postpartum women but the empowerment of returning to your RealSelf is what this is all about !
At a recent conference with a bunch of geeks like me, we all were astounded to find NONE of us said the $500 “Annual…
Protective sheath on Femilift wand was not on! What should I do?
Your Doctor will want to know this!
Feb 3, 2018
I have performed many FemiLifts. As Dr. Marco A. Pelosi III, states below, the FemiLift Probe is NOT designed to be used without the sheath. Please return to the doctor and describe your significantly increased pain over the last treatment and your observations. Sometimes the staff is quick to remove the sheath and it may have appeared that way, particularly if you are closing your eyes and breathing through a treatment because it hurt. In addition, the doctor may have chose a more…
Is this yellow discharge normal post-op perineoplasty?
Yes! You will get better soon!
Jan 24, 2018
Dearest One,
The pictures you took are great, 17 years of painful sex is coming to an end. The incision sites look healthy and clean. As human beings when we heal we get a little yellow protective covering as the skin heals and re- epithelialize’s, meaning the skin reforms, over surgical sites. With no redness underneath or induration ( swelling) . I think it looks like it is healing well. I would bet you will feel much better after this.
Good Luck on your Journey to better…
