From the photos, I would recommend lower facelift ( will correct the jowls ) and lift up the cheek (as long as it is a deep plane facelift ). I also would recommend a neck lift to make sure your lower face and neck are balanced and the transition is smooth and youthful.
Which is better – incision in the hairline or just below the sideburn for lower facelift?
Depends on the skin laxity and the planned amount of skin to be removed

I use both incisions. If I anticipate a larger amount of skin to be removed I will use the sideburn to avoid moving it (not a good look) but if the amount of the skin is less I do the hairline incision.

Depends on your skin laxity you might be a candidate for submental (chin) liposuction with facetite (skin tightening) +/- buccal fat removal for contouring the lower face . If you have a profile photos I can tell if you need a chin implant vs fat transfer to the chin /jaw line to enhance the balance .

I do think that mid face lift or lifting the mid face ( the areas under the eyes and the cheeks ) is a the best treatment for younger patients (30s) who are not happy with the mid face droop. I would recommend lower facelift , neck lift with fat transfer . This should be deep plane face and neck lift ; meaning lifting the deep droopy tissue and anchoring it vertically . Same with the neck , cleaning the bands and sharpening the jawline. I offer this procedures to my patients and myself as a provider and the patients are very happy with the results. The lower face and neck lift will correct the jowls, bands , corners of the mouth and even the mid face .
