Could it take more than 14 days for Dysport to get relief on my masseters?
Dysport calculations.
Sep 6, 2022
Hi Beautifulonce,
The dose of neurotoxin used for masseter hypertrophy is variable. This is an ‘off-label’ use for both Botox and Dysport, but both are used for this application commonly.
Typically Botox is reported for dosing. Most providers use between 15-50 units of botox per side depending on the strength of the muscle and the respose.
What can be confusing is that 1 unit of Dysport does NOT equal 1 unit of Botox. It is about 2.5:1: 2.5units Dysport 1 unit Botox.
Usually, you should…
How can I lower only the inner part of my eyebrow?
eyebrows and botox
Sep 6, 2022
Hi sakshibjaindera,
First: always be cautious comparing to celebrities. You never actually know what combination of treatments/skin care/ brow thinning/makeup is actually used.
Now that is out of the way: The eyebrow is pulled in different directions by different facial muscles. You are on the right track that frontalis contributes to upward pull. Different parts of frontalis can be afftected differently to cause the brow change position in different ways. But frontalis is not the ONLY…
How to get more definition of the face – fillers, fat removal, alternatives?
heart shape
Sep 6, 2022
Hi Ochiexx,
An experienced plastic surgeon or injector will be able to help guide you to some solutions that would achieve your goals. No part of the face should be evaluated in isolation (i.e. the chin has relations to the rest of your face).
That being said, chin filler can help to rebalance the facial relationships. If done properly, it should not make a face appear wider from the front.
Cheek augmentation with filler is a common way to more clearly define the cheek bones and can help…
Mental crease is extended & progressing – would filler work?
Addressing the mental crease
Aug 17, 2022
Hi Alethius,
I am certainly not a violinist, but it may be possible that repeated folding of your chin on the violin chin rest pad can be contributing.
That being said the mental crease is an area that can be addressed with filler. The chin and the angles of it are important to consider in terms of the porportions of the rest of your face (especially on profile view). An experienced injector will be able to walk you through this and options to address the mental crease(s) you are…
Am I a candidate for under eye filler?
undereye
Aug 15, 2022
Hi BA2,
Are you a candidate? Based on your photographs alone, you would be a good candidate for under eye or tear trough enhancement. However, a skilled physcian can walk you through what options there might be for unereye enhancement, which is not limited to filler (i.e. laser, PRP treatment).
Should you be safe? Injectables are a medical procedure and for the best outcomes an experienced injector that knows the safest way and give you an outstanding aesthetic result.

Are fillers safe in areas with previous Lower Blepharoplasty?
safety after surgery
Aug 15, 2022
Hello,
Anytime we apply filler to an area that has had surgery there it can be slightly more challenging because of scarring. It would be safe when performed by experienced provider, who specifically is skilled in under eye (aka infraorbital hollow) enhancement, which may not include filler (i.e. laser or PRP treatment).

Can chin filler migrate?
Moving filler?
Jul 28, 2022
Hi Safarian,
Your masseter (chewing muscle) attaches to your lower jaw. and spans most of your cheek in front of your ear. If you have noticeable area that looks fuller especially during animation (big smiles or when you are biting down), then there is a chance that the jaw line filler may have migrated. It all depends on where the product was injected, what plane it was injected and a number of other factors. The best plan is to be evaluated by a seasoned injector. That way they can see…
