Emsculpt Protocol 1 vs Protocol 2?
Protocols 1 and 2
Mar 15, 2020
Protocol 1 also can diminish fat as well as increase muscle mass. Protocol 2 is mostly for muscle. Protocol 1 is used for the abdomen. This is the recommendation from the BTL company as well as this is where they are seeing the best results. Technically, however, either can be used anywhere!
Is there any contraindication to having Emsculpt post muscle repair and hernia repair?
Emsculpt post surgery

Hello,
5 years out you will be ok having Emsculpt treatments as long as there are no metal implants in your body. You are healed this far out!

Thanks!

I’ve had a mesh above my vagina since 1995. Will BTL Emsella work for me?
Mesh and Emsella
Mar 15, 2020
Yes! Emsella can certainly help you! The mesh will not get in the way nor prevent it from working. Call your nearest provider for a consult. Thanks!
How effective is Emsella or incontinence and vaginal laxity?
Emsella for incontinence and vaginal laxity
Mar 15, 2020
Hello!
Emsella is FDA approved for urinary incontinence and we have seen significant results in both stress and urge incontinence in our patients. Regarding vaginal laxity, this has not been cleared yet, however you will likely see an improvement as this tightens all the muscles of the pelvic floor. Studies are in the works for this area and are seeing promising results!

Thank you!

I just found out I am 2-3 weeks pregnant and had one emsella treatment the other day. Will this effect
Emsella while pregnant
Mar 15, 2020
Congratulations! Emsella is not recommended in pregnancy however, this early before knowledge it is unlikely to have had any effect. The uterus is a smooth muscle and doesn’t react that same to the magnetic force of the machine. I would stop all further treatments and resume 6 weeks after delivery minimum. You can keep doing your Kegel Exercises in the meantime!
Will the Emsella chair help men after a radical prostatectomy?
Emsella after prostatectomy
Mar 15, 2020
Hi! We are seeing results using Emsella in this situation! People have had a great improvement in quality of life.

6 months would be fine! You are good to go. The longer you wait the longer it has time to heal. I am comfortable with 6 months.
