A hernia could possibly be reached by the depth of the laser thereby causing damage to the hernia. Of course, this is only an issue if you want to treat the area around the hernia.

Thank you for the question. Although MLT internal treatments are generally well-tolerated, the external treatment can be uncomfortable. However, a topical cream can be applied to the area prior to treatment to significantly reduce your discomfort. There’s no reason to be alarmed by the “burning” smell. Guidelines for MLT treatments suggest subsequent sessions be scheduled 4 to 6 weeks apart. I would recommend pushing your next session back rather than moving it forward. Best of luck! You…
