Unfortunately, there isn’t much you can do to fix a scar like that other than a scar revision. Everyone scars differently. I would recommend you consult with your surgeon and see if he or she would recommend a scar revision. There is a good possibility it would happen again but he or she could also give kenalog/sterroid injections to help prevent occurrence.
