Thanks for your question.  Temperature can commonly be elevated the first few days after surgery due to the inflammatory process initiated by the surgery itself, but it is always a good idea to be checked in person by your surgeon if there is any question that an infection might be the cause.  Best of luck with your recovery!

Thank you for your question and photos.  It looks like you would need a lift in addition to implants, but this is difficult to tell based on photos alone.  There are many factors that  have to be considered, and only an in person exam will provide enough information to make that call.  I would recommend that you arrange a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon in your area to find out what your options are.

Thank you for your question.  At this stage in your recovery, you still have a significant amount of swelling, which can take several months to resolve.  I would allow plenty of time for this to occur, as the contour of your abdomen will likely flatten as swelling decreases.  I would not recommend considering any revision surgery until all swelling has resolved and scarring has softened, ideally a minimum of one year after surgery.  Best of luck with your recovery!

Thank you for your question and photos.  It appears that your issue is one of excess skin, and I think that a tummy tuck would be the most reliable way to correct this.  I would be wary of any less invasive treatments suggested to you, as the results would likely be disappointing.  I would recommend that you have an in person evaluation by a board certified plastic surgeon in you area to learn more.
Is the asymmetry normal after an ex plant, fat grafting to breast and lift? Will it drop?

Thank you for your question and photos.  I am not sure how far out from your surgery, but it is common for post surgical swelling to lead to an asymmetric appearance due to more swelling on one side than the other.  If this is the case, symmetry should improve as swelling resolves.  Another cause for asymmetry further out from surgery might be decreased "take" of the fat grafts in one breast vs the other.  If this is the case, it will be obvious several months out from surgery, and can be ...

Thank you for your question.  Your old implants can be replaced after radiation, but there will be a higher than normal risk of asymmetry and/or development of capsular contracture in the radiated breast in the future.  I would also recommend waiting a minimum of 6 months after completing radiation before any breast surgery, unless its absolutely necessary.  With regard to reconstruction, there is a higher chance of failure of reconstruction after radiation if only implants are used - th...

Thanks for your question.  It is not uncommon to have symptoms such as those that you describe for several weeks after surgery.  Usually, as post surgical inflammation resolves, these symptoms resolve as well.  I would be sure to follow up with your surgeon and voice these concerns so that you can be evaluated in person.  Best of luck with your recovery!

This can be a complicated decision, but it the need for a lift is commonly determined by the amount of excess breast skin and the position of the nipple in relation to the fold under the breast.  If the nipple is located below the level of the fold, a lift is usually indicated.  I would recommend that you be evaluated by a board-certified plastic surgeon to determine exactly what you would need.
Signs of Capsular Contracture After Breast Augmentation?

Thank you for your question.  The signs that you are noticing could be due to capsular contracture.  Common signs include increased implant visibility, implant firmness, malposition of the implant, and pain associated with the implant.  I would recommend that you follow up with your plastic surgeon, or another board-certified plastic surgeon of your choosing, to have it evaluated.
I'm almost 4 weeks post op BA and I found a small hole along my incision, what can I do?

Thank you for your questions. You appear to have a grade two ptosis. After a lift, the breasts may appear smaller, although they are actually the same volume and will fill up a bra to the same extent as before. Post surgical pain is manageable, and it typically takes about a year for scars to soften and fade, although this varies from patient to patient.
