Strangely shaped nose, can the bone be fixed with fillers so I can only have surgery for the
you will need an open rhinoplasty
Jul 19, 2023
Hi. You have a bony bump on the bridge of the nose. The best treatment for this will be open rhinoplasty and correction of the bump using technology like piezo tome to shave it off. You also need tip-pasty and alar flare reduction. Therefore, I would suggest you to plan an open rhinoplasty which in your case will be called reduction rhinoplasty. Also fillers will not be able to help in your case as the bony bump area is wide and out of proportion to the rest of the nose. Fillers are temporary.
Feel like I have inverted V Deformity, any chance this is just apart of healing or bad nose
doesn’t look like inverted v deformity
Jul 19, 2023
Hi. This doesn’t look like an inverted v deformity. However, it does look like your wide nasal bones were not dealt with completely. it will be helpful to have better quality pictures and also your pre-operative pictures for comparison. As you mentioned, that you are 7 months post-op I will suggest you to wait for one full year for the healing to complete and also for your final results to show. You also seem to have asymmetric swelling in tip area which may or may not resolve at the end of…
10 months post op and the tip of my nose is still crooked. Is this just swelling or permanen
It is not due to swelling at 10 months
Jun 19, 2023
At 10 months it is very unlikely that this is swelling. However, to consider a revision rhinoplasty I would advise you to wait for atleast 1 year. Usually the swelling after rhinoplasty is symmetrical. Sometimes asymmetrical swelling also does occur but this doesn’t look like an asymmetrical swelling. It is significant likely that you will need a revision for correction. I would suggest you go to your operating surgeon and discuss the possible options.
Can I do rhino, lip lift & lower blepharoplasty all in one?
Yes all three can be done together
Jun 14, 2023
You haven’t shared any pictures so an honest answer is difficult. But theoretically speaking all three procedures can be done together. Your surgeon will choose a different incision when combining lip lift with rhinoplasty as opposed to the conventional rhinoplasty incision. Lower blepharoplasty can also be done at the same time. You might experience some additional swelling in the undereye area but overall the recovery should be smooth. Lip lift and lower blepharoplasty are minor p…
Asian, 25, male, 1.5 year blepharoplasty post-op, eye still very red, what’s causing this? (
You can consider consulting a dermatologist
Jun 14, 2023
In my opinion, according to this picture, redness spreads into the surrounding skin as well. It could be a persistent skin reaction or allergic reaction on the skin, so consult a dermatologist for an expert opinion. If everything is clear I think 18 months is enough time and you can start laser for the scar which is still immature.
