Hello,
I know it is so confusing. That right answer is, it likely does not matter, bra or no bra. Mother nature, Gravity, and the individuals healing ability will ultimately determine the outcome. My mentors always told me if you rely on something external rather than your surgery alone you did something wrong. I use bras because it adds a level of comfort and support for the patient. No scientific purpose. Hope this helps!

Hello,
As long as the stomach issues are not having a ‘flair up’ and not on medications that would prevent normal wound healing. After having a history and physical exam to check all issues, if your doctor does so then it would be save to proceed. You sometimes can even obtain clearance from your GI doctor for the surgery which is sometimes very helpful to the plastic surgeon. Hope this helps!!

Hello,
I do not feel that implant choice is the main decision here. You have some significant asymmetry with your right breast being larger than the left it appears on your picture as well as the areolar are large for your sized breast. I would treat this case some what like a tuberous breast case. I would say you certainly do not have the criteria for tuberous breast deformity. What you have is some significant asymmetry of the nipple areolar complex. A breast lift/reduction with reposition of the nipple areolar complex would do something very nice for you. Hope this helps!!

I would want to see all the other lab values also and take a thorough history and physical exam prior to proceeding with a surgery. If all of that were to check out and no other abnormality, a platelet count of 417 would not deter me from surgery. Hope this helps!

Hello,
I think the key thing here to tell you is that after the case there will still be some asymmetry. I tell my patients “sisters not twins.” Can we make an improvement in the symmetry? absolutely. I do feel that going with a dual plane breast augmentation through an IMF incision, and then a crescent areolar lift on the left side could do something nice. I fear that it would not get you all the way to symmetry and possibly an additional crescent lift in the office several months later…

My recommendation for you wanting a more natural look would be to go with the 300cc moderate profile. You have a very small frame and 300cc is a large implant for your frame. You may even consider dropping down 50cc in my opinion. Hope this helps!!
