As one gains weight globally, so too will the buttocks increase in volume by increasing the size of those fat cells in the gluteal region. I do not recommend gaining weight before or after a BBL. This is a difficult question in that every insurance carrier is different in regards to what they deem medically necessary. I recommend contacting your primary care provider who can document your infection and then refer you to a plastic surgeon for treatment.
