Hello. Generally speaking before moving forward with a rhinoplasty procedure, I would suggest my patient waits until the filler is completely dissolved. This way I can see the patient’s nose in its original form. I cannot speak on how every surgeon’s practice works, especially in today’s world, but I would NEVER ask a patient to commit to a procedure with me without meeting me first. In my practice, I take it a step further and only do in-person consultations. Meeting a patient virtually is still not enough, in my opinion. A revision rhinoplasty is a very tricky procedure. I see many patients looking for this procedure and my first suggestion is to always see your original surgeon first. If you are unhappy with their suggestions, then visiting another board certified surgeon for a revision consultation is suggested.
