I might suggest up to 6 months ahead of time so you know everything and be able to use the PS you want on the date you want .
They might use a center that books up far in advance and the earlier you go in the more likely to be given a schedule that meets your desires.
I operate my own surgical facility and have had patients consult one day and then have surgery the following day.
