There is minimal difference between 375 and 400 cc’s. You should try on sizers with your PS in order to pick the right size implant.
If you are stressing over 25 cc’s then you will be happy with either size. I always encourage the bigger size in the debate because rarely are patients too big after surgery. (Kurtis Martin, MD, Cincinnati Plastic Surgeon)
The difference between a 375cc and 400cc implant is less than 1 ounce, and is not significant. If you like more projection, go with the moderate plus or high profile implant. (Dennis Dass, MD, Beverly Hills Plastic Surgeon)
Implant size
It is impossible to give you a definitive answer, but if you are torn between two sizes, then go with the larger. 25cc is a minimal difference.
You could put 375 on one side and 400cc on the other, and probably not be able to tell a difference, so go ahead and go with the larger one, so you don’t wish you had 6 months later. (Gregory Sexton, MD, Columbia Plastic Surgeon)
375cc or 400cc Implants for Breast Augmentation
The size of your implants depends upon the base width of your hemichest. Once that base width has been measured then one can decide on the projection of the breast implant depending on what tissue is available and what you are trying to achieve. (Paul Vitenas, Jr., MD, Houston Plastic Surgeon)
Implant size from small B to C
As noted the difference in 25cc between implants is negligible at that size range. It really takes 50-75 cc difference before you’d really notice anything at that size implant. That being said, for most average sized women it would take in the low 300cc range (300-335cc) to get you into solid C range. At 400 cc you’re going to be a D cup (Robert Oliver Jr., MD, Birmingham Plastic Surgeon)
Breast Augmentation Size Choice by breast implant sizes photos
There is no perfect way to predict the look of implants post surgically. However, the difference between the two implants is not dramatic (about 6%). If you trust the surgeon, then look breast implant sizes photos and trust the surgeon to choose the best implant for your dimensions. (Kris M. Reddy, MD, FACS, New York Plastic Surgeon)
Sizing implants
The difference between 375 and 490 cc implants is very small, particularly in projection. There would not be any appreciable difference in appearance, particularly if the implants were sub muscular. It is important to convey your feelings about sizing to your plastic surgeon before the procedure. Many women later regret not going bigger but factors including age, hip size and your profession need to be considered. (Robert L. Kraft, MD, Omaha Plastic Surgeon)
If you are choosing between two sizes I usually say pick the bigger size because the most common thing people say afterwards is I wish I would have gone larger. (David E. Kim, MD, Manhattan Plastic Surgeon
Go Bigger! See breast implants sizes pictures
When in doubt between 2 sizes, I recommend going bigger. After the implant is placed, it will look smaller than you had anticipated.
Most women after BAM wished they had gone larger! (David Finkle, MD, San Diego Plastic Surgeon)
Breast implant sizing
Sizing of breast implants can be difficult. But, you have nailed it down pretty well. 25 cc’s will not make a significant difference so I look breast implants sizes pictures and would let the surgeon decide at this point which one to go with. (Steven Wallach, MD, Chicago Plastic Surgeon)
375 or 400 cc breast implant for augmentation
My patients tend to prefer the appearance of a moderate plus over the moderate but that is a matter of personal opinion. If you are going under the muscle and you have tried on a 350 and feel it is too small, I would go with the 400 moderate plus ( to compensate for 10-15% volume loss from compression due to under the muscle placement). However in my opinion either the 375 or 400 are likely to take you up to a very full C or small D. (Otto Joseph Placik, MD, Miami Plastic Surgeon)
I always recommend choosing larger breast implants
I always recommend going to the larger size, 371 cc’s. After 30 years+ of doing implants I can count on one hand the number of patients who felt they were to large vs the common complaint of, “I wish I would have gone larger!”
As for moderate vs moderate-plus go for the more projection implant. But you really should be discussing these issues with the operating surgeon. Get ALL your concerns answered prior to surgery. (Darryl J. Blinski, MD, )
25cc volume difference between implants is virtually invisible
When deciding on the size of their implants, many women spend a lot of time thinking about going up or down by a few cc’s. Try to look breast implants sizes pictures. It is very common for women to spend days and days thinking about which implant size will be better for them. One, or the other (which is only a few cc’s different). The answer is: either, but I recommend you go with the larger one because they always look smaller when they go in. And that 25cc difference? I bet you would have a hard time telling which one is which if you had 400 on one side and 375 on the other. (Martin Jugenburg, MD, Toronto Plastic Surgeon)
