Don’t be scared, wound separations like this are not uncommon after tummy tucks. They always heal, but may take some time. Work with your plastic surgeon, I’m sure he or she has your best interests at heart.Good luck.

There can be many causes from some drainage from the belly button, but all need to be evaluated by your surgeon. I would also not use the ab-board at two weeks after surgery. you need more time to heal before exercising. Good Luck

You need to make a mental safety list to check off, Is your surgeon board certified in plastic surgery, is the operating facility accredited, Is anesthesia administered boy a board certified anesthesiologist. If these criteria are met you are most likely in good hands. We do hundreds of surgeries every year in our office and have never had a crisis like you talk about. It appears from the photos that you have some postpartum diastasis, it also looks like you may have an umbilical hernia as well. Both would require surgery to correct. The question is if you plan to have more children, in which case I would recommend waiting until you have had all the children you want. A tummy tuck is what you need. Good Luck

You definitely still have some swelling left at 7 weeks, however since your contour is so nice and smooth I would guess it is some residual fat. But the best course of action is to communicate with your surgeon.Good Luck.

I would highly recommend doing the procedures together, you will get a better result if you combine them and it does not add to the recovery time. It also means only one trip to the operating room, one anesthetic and one recovery. If your neck is at all sagging go ahead and do it. Good Luck

I agree with the other Drs, 2 units is way to little to see any improvement. We routinely use 12-15 units per side in treating the crows feet. the effect is visible for two to four months. Good Luck.

I think you are a good candidate for a neck lift with fat removal, To adequately address the jawline and jowl you will need to address your lower face too. You seem to have nice skin tone and as you are only 42, probably have good elasticity of the skin as well. both of these will help you get a good durable result. It sounds like you may have an infection, and it looks like your surgeon is on top of it. It will probably not affect your eventual scar, unless further surgery is needed. Stay in close contact with your plastic surgeon. Good Luck!

While the standard approach for this would be a tummy tuck, I agree with youthat it is a lot of surgery for a small problem. You may get some improvement from Ulthera treatments, which are non invasive skin tightening ultrasounds. It will probably not be as flat as you want, but you should get a nice improvement without surgery. Good Luck!
