I am sorry to hear you aren’t happy with your results. Fortunately, the affects of Botox are temporary. You will begin to see your skin slowly return to normal over the next few months.

You will be unable to achieve the depth of treatment with an at-home device. That said, the at-home device can be used as an adjunct to office-based procedures.

It appears that your results are what one would expect after this type of treatment. Please know that if you don’t like it, it is temporary and will slowly wear off over a few months.
Can one use a topical vitamin c serum while on Accutane? Will it help fade red marks?
Vitamin C and Accutane

I would definitely ask your board certified dermatologist if they recommend this for you during your treatment. Every patient is different. However, I tend to recommend only non-irritating, bland products for sensitive skin during isotretinoin therapy. I don’t recommend using anything that can potentially irritate the skin and have found that vitamin C can be a common culprit causing skin sensitivity. Again, my recommendation is to use unmedicated, sensitive skin…
What are the best treatments for many whiteheads on face, arms and shoulders?
Acne

I would schedule an appointment with a board certified dermatologist. I find that after isotretinoin, patients respond to acne treatments that haven’t worked in the past. Topical retinoids are the cornerstone of acne treatment and I nearly always recommend them to maintain isotretinoin results. There are also anti-androgen medications and antibiotics that can quell breakouts from the source.

This is definitely something to discuss with the prescribing physician. However, it is usually prudent to continue isotretinoin therapy for 5-6 months even if acne clears earlier. Patients usually experience sustained remission of acne if completing their cumulative weight-based dose.
