Age 45, 325cc, silicone, under muscle, rupture – breast lift with explant?
Explantation

Hi Compassionate5010,
Based on your photos, I think that removing the implants ONLY without a lift, would leave you with an unappealing shape to your breasts. It seems that most of your breast tissue has migrated towards the bottom. I would recommend that you also have a breast lift to reposition the breast tissue.
Good luck!

Hi Updating2023,
You can absolutely remove your implants and have a lift during the first surgery, take some time to evaluate your results and decide if you want a little more volume. If you do, you can undergo a second procedure a few months later to place a smaller implant. The same pocket (under muscle) can be used but it depends on how things look during surgery. Good luck!!!

Will my scars and dent ever heal after my breast augmentation?
Scar and dent

Hi Terrific784978I am sorry to hear about the issues you developed after surgery. When a wound dehiscence develops (opens up), it can heal as in your case with a ticker scar and some contour irregularities. Unfortunately, the scar and the irregularity will most likely not disappear completely. However, with time, those issues may soften slightly. Your right breast will never look exactly as your left breast. At this point, wait at least 1 year to consider a scar revision. Good luck.
Do I need a breast lift?
Lift or not??

Hi Warmhearted243977, If you don’t mind the slight sag of your breasts or the position of your nipples as you mentioned, doing a breast augmentation only is definitely an option. You may be very happy with the results of the augmentation. If you decide that the sag bothers you in the future, you could always undergo at that time a breast lift. Anyways, it is important that you can see in person a board-certified plastic surgeon that can better assess your skin quality and breast tissue as…

Nipple location

Hi Exuberant171027Thanks for sharing, based on your photo, it seems that the nipples are in good position, but the implant appears to be placed too low on the chest wall causing most of the volume of the implant to be on the lower aspect of the breast. You may consider a revision to reposition the breast implants. However, the first step is to have a discussion with your surgeon or seek a second opinion by a board-certified plastic surgeon for a better in person assessment. Good luck.
I lost 5 lbs, 4 months post BBL, and lost size in my butt. If I gain weight, will my butt return
5Lb weight loss

Hi Gentle254140,Weight loss for anyone (post-surgery or not), will impact the whole body and not a specific area in particular. After a lipotransfer procedure such as a BBL, a percentage of the fat will be loss causing a decrease in the initial volume seen soon after the surgery. Also, 4 months after surgery, the initial swelling has decreased significantly. Discus with your surgeon your concerns. Maybe an additional round of fat grafting is necessary to achieve your desired volume. Good…
Tylenol before lipo 360 + BBL. Is it safe? Can it cause any trouble during lipo?
Tylenol before surgery

Hi Neat837424Every surgeon has its own preference when it comes to pain regimen for surgery. Tylenol is safe before the surgery as long as you have no allergy or liver issues. Also remember to stay within the daily recommended dose. In my practice, I place all my patients on Tylenol. However, is best that you follow your surgeons’ instructions. Good luck with surgery.
