Hi! I typically advise my patients not to sleep on their stomachs after breast augmentation surgery for as long as possible until they are fully recovered. The reason for this is to give the scar capsule enough time to form around the implant and to eliminate the risk of deformity that can be caused by the pressure of sleeping on the implants. Liposuction can definitely be done. I suggest waiting until your BMI is closer to 30 before doing so.  If the abdomen is suctioned aggressively, you will likely have some prominence of your lap band port. A more conservative suction may allow for more camoflauge.

Congrats on your weight loss! And yes, these are the two most common combined surgeries in women after children and after massive weight loss. The recovery from a tummy tuck is the hardest part, and adding breast surgery doesn’t change the recovery period much if at all. These two combined procedures tend to make weight loss patients extremely happy and feel like their bodies now match their new-found self confidence.

I suspect that some of that tissue is true gynecomastia and the remainder of it is excess adipose tissue. Have you ever attempted weight loss and did the appearance of your chest change? Either way, this could be addressed surgically and I think you would be happy with the results. A combination of excision of tissue and liposuction would give you a good outcome.

Thanks for your question. One question I have is how long has it been since surgery? Many patients have pain after labiaplasty that continues to improve with time. However, some women have persistent pain and often more surgery is not the answer. Based on your photos, I think your labiaplasty had adequate removal of tissue but you may want to consider clitoral hood reduction, in addition, to balance the appearance of your genitalia.

Unfortunately this happens. The fact that you had a reduction in the recent past doesn’t impact things too much. It does mean that you are likely not a candidate for nipple-sparing mastectomy at this time, but given your large breast size, you likely wouldn’t have been able to have that operation regardless.
