Can you do laser hair removal to thin the hair instead of completely removing it?
Laser Hair Removal
Dec 3, 2020
Dec 3, 2020
Good Question. The short answer is yes, you can do several sessions and end up with less hair. You need to know that with each treatment session the hair will become thinner and finer. The hair removal may be irregular and patchy. Although, over time with hair regrowth it tends to even out. So if you initially have 4 to 5 treatments and then wait 6 months you may have a good idea of where you stand with "partial" hair removal. There is no harm in waiting "too long" between treatments other...
24 year old female looking into doing some non-surgical procedures. What would you recommend?
Non-surgical procedures

Thanks for the question. You are young and beautiful and have good features. I would not do anything with your jawline. If you want to address your nose I would see a plastic or facial plastic surgeon - even for non-surgical filler. Nasal filler can be tricky.
I would start with procedures to improve your skin. Microneedling and laser treatments like Picoway and GentleMax Pro would be very beneficial for you. Pay these procedures...

Will I get the best results for under eye hollows with tear trough and cheek filler? Which filler? (ph
Tear trough filler
Jun 24, 2019
Jun 24, 2019
Tear trough or under eye hollows are such a common concern. They are also an early sign of aging. Based on your photos you appear to be a great candidate for marked improvement with filler. There are many good options based on your providers experience. I prefer Restylane using a cannula technique.
Which are the best fillers for tear trough and which ones last the longest?

I love correcting tear trough under eye areas with Restylane-L using a cannula technique. Simple and satisfying procedure! Restylane is as good and lasts as long as any other HA fillers in this area. And the price point is good!
I would wait a month after filler and then resume your dermarolling.
Best, Dr. Rogers

Hair re-growth after laser hair removal

8-12 treatments should be quite effective. Results may vary greatly based upon your individual body, the quality of the equipment, the equipment settings, the timing of treatments, and the provider technique and experience.
I would consider further laser hair treatments. Electrolysis is just too slow and tedious. I would only use electrolysis for light hair and hair in areas that can not be lasered, such as around the eyes.

Are fillers for temples safe? Worried about blindness. Does “aspiration” guarantee you’re not hitting
Filler in Temples
May 18, 2019
May 18, 2019
Very good question. Fillers in the temples are very safe and in fact safer than some other areas of the face. There is no such thing as completely eliminating risk. But I would not hesitate to get temple filler from an experienced and skilled injector.
The temples can require a lot of volume. I prefer Sculptra with a cannula technique for safety, better value, and longer lasting results. Bellafill and fat are also good longer lasting options....

What other fillers can I do for my face? I’ve had 4 vials of Sculptra total in temples and hollow side

Good question! Based on your photo you have good bone structure and look great! You have started with Sculptra; therefore, the first recommendation would be to continue Sculptra. I use a lot of Scultpra. I would consider having 2 more vials and then maintaining it with about 1 vial a year. It always works and is natural and easy. A great product.
