Burning sensation in one breast 8 months after breast augmentation, ruptured ??
Nerve Related Pain

Hi
Burning sensation in the breast after breast augmentation is very common. Often the nerves supplying the breast are stretched / bruised and when they wake up / start healing you often get a nerve type of pain which can be stabbing / sharp pain or burning type of sensation which often settles over the first 3 to 6 months.
It would be very unlikely to be an implant rupture at this early stage but best for you to follow up with your surgeon and discuss your concerns

Losing weight after implants?
Losing Weight

Hi It all depends on where you are starting from, the thinner you are and the less coverage you have covering the implant the more any imperfections will show through. If you are already lean and have little soft tissue than losing too much weight (fatty tissue) will increase the risk of rippling and edge palpability of the implant – this will be most noticeable in the area not covered by the chest muscle – bottom and lateral. As has already been mentioned – you cannot control where you…
Fit/tall/broad shouldered girl – implant size?
No correct answer

Jul 11, 2015
Hi It really depends on what type of look your after. From your images you have a lower breast take off and wide chest wall. I find a shaped / anatomical tall implant is the best option to give you width to cover the lateral part of the chest and give a natural breast curve and also height to the breast to give better cleavage. Often a round implant as its only as tall as its wide is not high enough to give the best or most natural cleavage possible Also it is difficult…
Numbness under arm after BA. Is this normal or have I ended up with nerve damage?
Numbness under arm
Jul 7, 2015
Jul 7, 2015
Hi It is very normal to have some numbness around an incision for a few centimetres in the initial few months after surgery anywhere on the body and this often gets better over 6 – 12 months. However sometimes you may always have some permanent numbness adjacent to a scar – like on abdomen after tummy tuck there is often some permanent numbness to the lower abdomen If a nerve had been permanently damaged in the axilla than the area of numbness would often be much larger – more…
