Thanks for your question. It is hard to determine exactly what is in the picture based on its size but it looks like the object is in the area of a wound at the incision site. Wounds can happen after tummy tuck but to know for sure I recommend that you follow up with your plastic surgeon. I’m sure he or she would like to be notified of your concern.

This is a great question. In general, smoking can be harmful to your tissues especially after surgery because it decreases blood flow. Adequate blood flow is necessary to heal the breast around the implant and at the incision. I recommend that you follow up with your plastic surgeon to make sure you are healing appropriately.

Good Morning,
Fluid development and absorption is a natural process of inflammation and healing. Your body tends to make a lot a fluid initially after surgery and that lessens as your tissues begin heal together. Occasionally, the fluid is not completely reabsorbed. Be sure to check back with your plastic surgeon to make sure things are going in the right direction. Hope this is helpful.

Hi Carla1995. Hyperpigmentation around the mouth can be difficult to fix without knowing exactly what’s causing it. However if something around your lips is a source of inflammation for example makeup, chronic skin condition i.e. eczema, this can lead to what is called PIH (postinflammatory hyperpigmentation).
