Dear Tubey,
If you consult with 10 different plastic surgeons… you will probably get 10 different recommendations! If you were my surgical patient, my plan for you would be small silicone implants and circumaerolar lifts (circular scars). Hope this helps and good luck!

Based on your photos, a reasonable size implant would give you a very nice result. You would get some ‘lifting” with the implants, and I agree… I slightly larger implant on one side for better symmetry. Hope this helps and good luck!

It is rare for insurance to pay for a liposuction procedure. The most common reason I can think of is during breast reconstruction. You may want to consider a gastric procedure if you aren’t able to lose weight through lifestyle modification. Hope this helps and good luck!

To directly answer you question… and based on your “little bit of hanging skin.” most docs would agree that just removing some skin (vs. a full muscle repair abdominoplasty) is safer. There may be other less invasive ways to tighten skin as well (Bodytite, Morpheus8, Genius). Hope this helps and good luck!

So.., there are definitely options to “tighten” your skin without surgical scars. Look up Bodytite… a technology that will heat up the skin and cause some contraction. Also, there’s a couple non-invasive micro-needling treatments called Morpheus8 and Genius that uses radio frequency. Hope this helps and good luck!

Your breasts should not decrease in size with a lift. However, due to the lift… the volume (and remaining skin) will be higher up and may give the appearance of shrinking since the “drooping” is resolved. Certainly, you would do well with just a lift… and down the road if you decided to go bigger with implants, you wouldn’t have “burned any bridges.” Hope this helps and good luck!

Looking at your photos, you are a great candidate for a breast reduction. The surgery would reduce most if not all of the symptoms you describe. As for how much to be removed, Cigna uses a formula based on your height and weight. Average grams in usually around 500 grams of tissue to be removed. Hope this helps and good luck!
