Tuberous breasts involve a constriction, which you have, but also involve breast tissue that pushes out through the nipple/areola complex. Hi and thank you for the question. The type of breast lift that we perform depends on how much nipple movement is needed to get an ideal position. In your case, you could get some upward mobility of the nipples using a circumareolar lift which would allow a bit more visible skin below the areolas. But to get a more central position you will likely need either a vertical or anchor pattern lift. This is something that you surgeon will be able to demonstrate for you in the office. If you are happy with the overall look you have now (minus the rippling) then there is no reason you can't have a revision procedure with new implants placed in a pocket below the muscle. Hi and thank you for the question. Your surgeon should be able to correct this without much difficulty. Sutures can be placed internally to help re-establish the nice fold that you had after the surgery, or skin can be removed along the existing inframammary (bottom of breast) scar.

Your surgeon may have decided not to place the mesh on the day of surgery if he or she found that your capsule as thick enough to hold sutures. Hi and thank you for the question. I don't think this plan is going to help you for two reasons. First, the texture on the Sientra and Mentor implants isn't very aggressive. So it doesn't allow those implants to stick as well to the capsule. The Allergan texture was the most aggressive, but it causes ALCL in a small percentage of patient and is no longer used. The other issue is the implant size. A 600 cc implant weighs about 1.5 pounds. That weight combined with minimally textured devices...

It's also not realistic to give you good feedback without seeing photos of how your current implants fit you. Impossible to say without an exam whether you actually have symmastia, but it's certainly possible. Either way your pockets should be revised. The implant is higher on one side than the other, your areolas are at different heights, and you have some extra breast skin on your upper belly.
