The positives for saline are lower-cost. The negatives are increased firmness, more prominent rippling, and most significant is their tendency to completely deflate after rupture, demanding additional surgery.
The positives for silicone are their more natural softness and appearance, leakage does not result in a deflation therefore it does not demand secondary surgery. The negative is the additional cost of the silicone implant.
In my practice. I use approximately 98% silicone gel prostheses

This is usually technique related. Deep fascia suturing is the most important stitch placed. However some patients can form weak scar tissue that may contribute to this suboptimal result.

My patients are told to be at their normal/stable body weight. A measure of height to weight ratio is also considered. A BMI (body mass index) over 30 should be scrutinized closely. Limits for fat volume removed are present. If your requests cannot be met then you do not want to pay for the surgery but feel unhappy with your outcome.

There are many causes of pocket asymmetry. Your case needs to be evaluated thoroughly with an examination. Revisions are very common for a multitude of reasons but it appears that your breasts were asymmetric. Capsule repair with suturing and or synthetic mesh is an option.
