Dr. Partington’s state-of-the-art practice, Partington Plastic Surgery & Laser Center, is devoted to enhancing the lives of his patients. “I find great joy in helping people look and feel their best at any age,” he says. “I view each patient’s story as a new journey, with a very specific objective and potential result.” He and his staff provide safe and comfortable care, with sincere dedication to helping his patients look and feel their best with natural-looking results.

Dr. Partington obtained his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College, where he was named president of his class. He went on to complete a seven-year general surgery residency at the University of California, Los Angeles. There, he was appointed as a research fellow for the department of cardiothoracic surgery.

He continued his advanced training with a plastic surgery residency at New York University and a microsurgery fellowship at the Buncke Clinic Davies Medical Center in San Francisco.

Before starting his private practice, Dr. Partington held the roles of director of microsurgery at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center and chief of plastic surgery at the Everett Clinic in Washington state.

Dr. Partington is board certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of various medical societies, including the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgery, and the Northwest Society of Plastic Surgeons.

He has been the recipient of numerous awards and honors, including Kirkland’s Best Plastic Surgeon, Top Doctor in Seattle Met magazine, and Best of Western Washington’s Best Plastic Surgeon for six consecutive years.

When he’s not helping patients at his Seattle-area private practice, Dr. Partington volunteers and serves as a committee member for the nonprofit organization ReSurge International, which provides free plastic and reconstructive surgery to patients worldwide with facial anomalies and injuries.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Partington and his colleagues raised funds to provide PPE for the medical unit and the community of the West African city of Bamako.

Combining Labiaplasty and liposuction at the same time is very reasonable. Be aware that post operative swelling in the vaginal area may be more pronounced, especially if liposuction of the abdomen has been performed. When indicated, I often combine labiaplasty and liposuction of the mons pubis to enhance results.

Judging from your before and after photos, it looks like you have had a wedge procedure without attention to clitoral hood reduction. Other than swelling, I would not expect you to have post surgical exposure issues with the clitoris.

It sounds like you may be experiencing local irritation from outside absorbable sutures. Besides soaking and analgesics, it might be worthwhile to ask your surgeon if he/she might trim excess suture material at the external knots which may be causing chafing and consequent inflammation. It is this inflammation more likely than infection that causes the pain. Often Epsom salt soaks can help relieve swelling and discomfort.

Sorry to hear you are having those problems. Whenever there is a post operative problem, it is the doctor’s responsibility to diagnose what went wrong before setting out a plan to fix it. LABIAPLAST REVISION often involves reexcision of the opened wound edges and resuturing. Judging from your photo, it looks as if you have undergone a trim technique of both labia minors. This technique is associated with heightened swelling, discomfort and scarring. I purposely avoid this technique in favor of the WEDGE TECHNIQUE WHICH MINIMIZES SCARRING, SWELLING AND RECOVERY TIME.I would recommend you discussing Epsom salt soaks with your surgeon and monitor closely for infection and local suture irritation. pictures I would say definitely liposuction and not tummy tuck. You should be
able to get nice smooth contouring of your abdominal skin as well as tightening
your waist and hip line which will accentuate the roundness of your buttocks.

Your photographs does not show the full anatomy. However
from what I can see you are a very reasonable candidate for a wedge procedure.
The clitoral hood appears normal and I would recommend that that is not
operated on. Scars from the Wedge procedure are generally excellent and well-hidden.
Loss of sensation is a rare problem. However, clitoral hood reduction is more
likely to be complicated by sensation changes.
