Dr. Young specializes in breast enhancement procedures, mommy makeovers, and skin tightening treatments. “I take my work of creating beauty very seriously,” he says.

After completing his undergraduate degree at the United States Military Academy, West Point in New York, he obtained his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine. From there, Dr. Young completed his residency in general surgery at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas and then a fellowship in plastic surgery at Beaumont Army Medical Center.

Dr. Young returned to Fort Sam Houston, where he served as a plastic surgeon and consultant to the burn unit at the Brooke Army Medical Center. There, he served as the chief of plastic surgery and performed various major reconstructive procedures. In 1990, he retired from the army and opened his own private plastic surgery center.

Since then, Dr. Young has established himself as one of the most recognized plastic surgeons in San Antonio, Texas. Having performed more than 10,000 breast enhancement procedures, he’s also earned the nickname of “San Antonio’s breast doctor.”

Dr. Young is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has received membership into the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), as well as the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). He is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).

Hello and thank you for your question.  Micro-autologous fat transfer has become an alternative treatment for lower eyelid blepharoplasty.  The traditional blepharoplasty removes fatty tissue and this sometimes still results in a hollowness between the eyelid and cheek junction.  The fat transfer tends to blend the eyelid with the cheek junction making traditional excision unnecessary.  This should not disrupt the position of your lower lid.  Best of luck to you.

Thank you for your question.  At this point I feel it is too early to proceed with corrective surgery.  I would wait for the scar to soften which may release the webbing with time.  In the meantime you could massage the scar to soften it.  If the webbing is persistent over a 6-12 month period than you could perform a small procedure called a Z-plasty to correct the webbing.  Best of luck to you.

Hello and thank you for your question.  In any type of surgery when you have asymmetrical results it is best to go to your surgeon and see what he is or is not able to accomplish.  It you are still dissatisfied with the response you may very well get a second opinion.  It appears that your left upper eyelid remains ptotic and you would need a levator advancement (the muscle that opens and closes your eyelid) which would elevate your eyelid and improve the fold position.  Best of luck to you.

Thank you for your inquiry.  Based on your photos it appears you did need a lift.  Augmentation alone will not elevate your aerolas thus not creating a desirable result.  If you truly want to be larger in size you would require an implant with a breast lift based on the position of your nipples and inframammary fold.  Best of luck to you.

Hello and thank you for your question.  Based on your photos it does appear you have a significant amount of laxity.  This is best treated by the traditional abdominoplasty which can be combined with the vertical excision.  Liposuction to the hips/flanks with fat transfer could improve the overall shape of your buttock and back.  In the abdominal region I think you would benefit best from the tummy tuck probably to include the vertical incision.  Congratulations on your journey best of luck...

Hello and thank you for your question.  Based on your photos I do not believe you need a vertical incision abdominoplasty. You look like you are a good candidate for the low horizontal incision abdominoplasty which is easily hidden.  The vertical incision is primarily for people who have lost a large amount of weight and the laxity needs to be tightened both vertically and hoizontally.  I would recommend getting a second consultation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.  Best of luck to you
