From your description, it is possible that you have capsule contracture, which often has the signs of high riding implants, hard to palpation. This can be surgically corrected but will need to be examined by a plastic surgeon to determine if that indeed is the cause of your asymmetry.

It is a relatively older technique and concept to use implant at the nasal tip (ie. L shaped implant) for the problems that you mentioned regarding thinning out nasal tip and having implant extruding in the long run. How it will eventually be really depends on how thick your nasal skin is and also if the surgeon had placed some protective layers on top like on lay ear cartilages etc. But most rhinoplasty surgeon nowadays do not like any implant materials at the nasal tip.
Is there much difference between 275cc and 295cc?

Between 275 cc and 295cc there really is not much weight difference feeling when they are inside your body. I rarely have patients complaining of weight or heavy feeling unless they are putting in more than 450 cc implants.

I think you can get hair transplant, but it is equally important to keep some kind of combination maintenance therapy like what you have been doing (minoxidil, finasteride, even supplements like nutrofol, red light therapy, PRP injection etc) Because hair transplant procedure can restore loss hair but can't prevent other existing hair from falling off.

When the hair follicles are just atrophic or diminutive you can try treatments like topical minoxidil or PRP injection etc to revive them, but when they are completely dead then likely only hair transplant will help. the cost will depend on the area needed and how many follicles are needed. First of all, five months after surgery you are not seeing the full result yet. Typically takes about one year to see the final result after hair transplant. Second, transplanted follicles though follow the behavior of the donor site, which usually are taken from the more testosterone resistant back of scalp area, can still fall off like any regular hair. Normal people have about 50 to 100 hair fall off on a daily basis.

Hair loss is an ongoing process, even through hair transplant can increase and restore the loss hair volume but it doesn't prevent the original hair from continual falling out. So no matter what hair transplant surgery you have done, you still need to continue certain maintenance treatment like finasteride, minoxidil, supplements, light therapy etc.

There are no definitive studies that I am aware of how long you should stop drinking before the procedure. We often tell our patients to refrain from drinking after because that can increase swelling and also cause inadvertent trauma from being drunk etc. Best is to talk to your hair transplant physician to figure out the best course forward.

I think if the problem is just thinning you can try multimodality of hair maintenance therapies like topical minoxidil or PRP injection or oral supplement or light therapy and often times they can have good effect after 3 to 6 months. but for the area that already has no viable hair follicles, hair transplant might be the only way to restore hair in that area. Best thing is probably to see a local physician to examine your hair and recommend the best treatment for you.

It is always possible but will need to be evaluated by a physician first to see how many grafts are available and how many grafts are needed to establish a full hair that you want. But it is also just as important to have maintenance therapy to keep your CURRENT hair so medication like minoxidil and finasteride should be discussed with your doctor.
