Thank you for your question. Breast implants are most often placed under the pectoralis muscle to decrease descent of the implant, capsular contracture, and palpability of the implant. This provides an added layer of tissue over the implant and helps to conceal the shape and outline of the implant. However, an in person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon will be needed to determine what is best.

Thank you for your question. In general I tell my patients it can take 3-6 months before the implants have fully dropped. If the implant is smooth, you will need to massage them 3-5 times a day for
