What form of vaginal rejuvenation is recommended for Incontinence after 3 birth deliveries? Is multi
overactive bladder and stress incontinence
Jul 21, 2020
Jul 21, 2020
Hi,If you never feel like your bladder is empty because you constantly have to urinate, you may have an overactive bladder (OAB), in addition to stress incontinence (leakage with cough, laugh, exercise). A urologist or urogynecologist will review your options which would be different for the OAB and for the SUI. Vaginal rejuvenation procedures can provide collagen and tone to the vaginal wall, which can help with very mild SUI, but it sounds like you will need a procedure urethral bulking…
Considering Geneveve but do not know if I’m a candidate?
Viveve after sling removal
Jul 21, 2020
Jul 21, 2020
This is a great question. Since you had the mesh removed, you could safely have Viveve and it would likely help with vaginal tone and sensation. You need an exam by a urologist or urogynecologist to determine how severe your stress incontinence is. If you leak fairly easily, Viveve will not likely treat that. You may want to consider doing a bulking agent injection (a filler) in the urethra as well.
What is the difference between vFit and vFit Plus?
Vfit versus Vfitplus

Hi,
This is a good question. Vfit plus has the ability to use higher settings to achieve the same effect with less sessions. It is only sold in professional offices, because it is meant to be used in women who are also seeing a doctor for their symptoms.

Hi,
If you have not already done pelvic floor physical therapy to strengthen the muscles and help with your stress incontinence, this would be the first thing. After that, for the stress incontinence, your options would be an energy based procedure in the office, like Viveve, if the SUI is mild. If it is more moderate, a bulking agent can be done – this is also a simple office procedure. This is where a filler is injected on the inside of the urethra to help it form a tighter seal. If…

Vfit plus and photonic gel
Jul 9, 2020
Jul 9, 2020
The photonic gel is a water based gel that allows the energy from the Vfit device to conduct properly to the tissue and it also has a cooling and lubricating effect. It was the gel used in the studies that showed a benefit for sexual satisfaction and stress incontinence in women who used the device.
Can Viveve be performed after a TVT sling?
leaking after sling
Jul 9, 2020
Jul 9, 2020
If you are still leaking after a properly placed sling, you may have intrinsic sphincter deficiency and a urethral bulking agent injection would address this better than Viveve. Very important to have a physical exam done.
Does the Mona Lisa Touch help for stress incontinence?
options for stress incontinence

Jul 9, 2020
MLT is not really a treatment for stress incontinence. It is more for women who have issues with the vaginal skin being thin and dry. It resurfaces the epithelium. For stress incontinence, you are better off with a procedure like Viveve, which uses radiofrequency energy to penetrate more deeply below the surface to produce more collagen in the connective tissue of the vaginal wall. This strengthens the vaginal wall and gives the urethra support to prevent leakage. If your leakage is…
