The appearance of your incision is not normal healing. There is evidence of decreased blood flow to the skin on both sides of the vertical incision. Additionally there is evidence of a skin infection or cellutitis. I recommend that you see your surgeon immediately as it appears that the wound is not healing properly. If he continues to tell you that your wound infection is normal, then you may want to seek further evaluation from another board certified plastic surgeon.
