That's a great question - recovery time is one of the most common questions that we receive! It would be nice to provide a cookie-cutter answer for the length of recovery, but the truth is that it all depends on your body, and the recommendation of your surgeon. We have some patients who want to return to work within 72 hours, while others may require a bit more time to fully rest. The decision to resume normal activity should be made in conjunction with your surgeon.

Given the proximity (3 weeks) from surgery I would venture to say that the discomfort is normal if the augment ion was done under the muscle. It is not uncommon to still feel discomfort or pain several weeks out. It depends on the patient, the surgical technique and other factors. If the breasts are either feeling or looking different, then consultation with your plastic surgeon earlier then the scheduled followup would be advised. Hope this is helpful.

Depending upon where exactly the fat is located it can typically be removed with liposuction or direct excision(removal surgically). It is not caused by wearing garments that are too tight but can be made more apparent with certain tighter fitting garments. I think that the difference in the two implants you are looking at is very small. The size in volume and in dimensions is relatively minor. Thanks for your question. I think that Coolscupting is a wonderful tool for certain situations but typically reduces fat volume by about 20-25%. I am not sure whether one might be satisfied with this much removal in a Buffalo hump and might suggest a better tool might be liposuction. Absolutely, we do. It makes sense to reduce the fees when the patient is already in the operating room and is undergoing an anesthetic. The fees for anesthesia are significantly reduced as well, as the start up costs of anesthesia are typically more at the begining of the operation. Having combined procedures reduces recovery time, saves on anesthesia costs, and is reduced on the surgeon's fees as loyalty and grattitude to the patient for trusting in the practice to do their surgery.

Your photos are helpful but it is difficult to assess completely the results. The timing is exceptionally early to judge at this time. Of course there will be a lot of swelling replacing the fat removed and it is often the case that a patient feels "fatter" then they did before surgery and can't wear the same clothes they did before. Thank you for your photos. I would recommend that you wait a little longer before embarking on scar revision. You would likely benefit from better scar placement on the left side and some revision of the umbilicus(belly button scar). The result appears tight and you might not have enough laxity at this time(10 months) to get the left scar to come down.
