Yes the two techniques can be combined as all vaginas look different and need different techniques. BUT not in the way you are describing. This would lead to a lot of scar and risk of making things too small. If a wedge is done properly the labia minora are small and no further tissue should be excised even if the tissue is dark. They are usually combined when one method is need anteriorly and the other posteriorly etc.

In proper hands this will not happen. The key is to find a board certified PS that does a large number of clitoral hood reductions. AND they will be conservative in order to ensure no damage. Some of the puffiness that patients dislike in that area is the actual clitoris. This cannot be safely reduced during surgery. Only the excess hood skin can be taken.

A mini TT does not address the diastasis or muscle separation above the belly button and will not tighten the skin above the belly button. I cannot say for sure without doing an exam if you have diastasis. BUT from the photos it looks like you need a full TT. Having a small vertical scar is not a bad thing. It can heal very pretty and almost disappear. You may also be able to float the belly button and and avoid the vertical scar.

At 5 months post op you should no longer be wearing a surgical compression garment. There are studies that after 6-8 weeks compression like this can cause weakening of the abdominal muscles. You can have edema for a year or longer. Try a low salt diet and no alcohol. This can help cut down on the swelling.

It is hard to tell from photos alone and is best to go for a consultation, but I would say you would benefit from a standard TT. A reverse TT would leave you with a scar under your breasts connection in the midline and can pull the breast plate down. A standard TT scar is easier to hide in clothing etc. You may need Renuvion on the remaining skin to really get a nice youthful look.

I cannot speak specifically to you as I don't know what you looked like before. What I can say is that some of us have a more boxy less curvy body type. Are they along the scar? If so it may be signs of hypertrophic scar or keloid. If this is what they are, they would not change when standing/sitting. They would be present in any position. Lumps above the scar can be fibrosis under the skin which is very common after a tummy tuck with lipo. Lymphatic massage early then more aggressive massage for fibrosis later are key to smooth results.

Have you gained weight since the surgery? If so, this can make things above the scar look puffy. It does not take much. A few pounds can look bad. BUT if you have not, the puffiness may still resolve with time as your healing didn't really start until after all of your complications resolved. I don't love your scar. It loos like a "'w". I would consider revising this with more lipo if things do not look the way you hoped by your one year mark.
