Yes the ‘itchiness’ is normal and could be from a variety of things- most of which are normal things and nothing to worry about. I have found that the appearance people get after pregnancy is so variable that it’s hard to predict. Enjoy your pregnancy!

There are ways to give your breasts a more ‘lifted’ appearance wihtout a surgical lift, but in your case I believe the ‘droopiness’ will recur quickly. I do fell that, in your case, doing a breast lift is neceesary- even if a small implant is used.

The scars you have are not typical and it’s difficult to see the nuances of the scars from the photos you posted. These scars may get some improvement from laser treatments but surgical scar revision may be a better option based on the width. These scars are already almost a year old and I wouldn’t expect significant imporvement over time although you may still get some imporovement in scar color. Good Luck!

First of all, there is nothing like seeing someone in person and examining them- and if you’re unsure of what a doctor tells you then get other opinions. The single photo you posted does show a breast that has a bit more projection than typical, but your breast does not have the typical findings seen in tuberous breasts.

Breast Augemtnation should not make your skin ‘tight’- although you will feel some tightness early after the surgery. Perhaps the most common issues I see after BA is based on the size and shape of the implant used being too big/tight for the muscle. As long as the implant selected is appropriate for your frame and for your requests you should not have any issues. BA is commonly performed before patients have children and it should not be a problem.

I agree that you should feel relief once the drains are out. What yu’re describing sounds normal postop and your doctor should evaluate you for any other issues at the time of drain removal.

IT’s difficult to cpmpletely answer your question without seeing what the scars look like. We have used both techniques in my practice and fractional resurfacing tends to give a more consistent and superior result to needling. Often, if there is significant reddness in the scar from vascularity we will often use one of the vascualr lasers as well. Good Luck!
