The obvious question is why would you need fat grafts in your cheeks if you just had 4 syringes placed?  Think about more filler or dissolving filler if there are irregularities or finding another injector.  Having fat placed with filler in is not a problem for chemistry - they will not react with another.  How would a surgeon even know where or how much fat to put in?  Fat grating ideally would be done with no filler in for the best result from fat grafting.Dr. Zenn

It sounds like you are being treated for an infection and this is appropriate.  This may be related to surgery near the salivary glands in the cheek now causing infection.  Your surgeon will aspirate the area with a needle to be sure there is no abscess (trapped infection).  If so, the area will need to be drained.  Infections around fat grafts can lead to lower take rates and lumps requiring further treatment, like steroid injection, but not with an active infection.Dr. Zenn

No.  Try to avoid fillers in the areas where fat grafting will be performed.  It's hard enough to get the right amounts of fat grafts to survive and look good.  It is also hard to fully dissolve all of the filler.  Why set yourself up for disappointment or a second round of fat grafting.  Save your money and wait a few months.Dr. Zenn

It is hard to appreciate the fullness below the lip on the left.  The left lip itself is fuller on the left than the right so some filler would equalize that.  As for the fullness you see, the fat may have been placed below the lip intentionally or accidentally.  It is not likely that it migrated - it gets trapped when placed.  Muscle irregularities by the chin can be treated well with botox.  If your lip appears off center, it likely is - there are no perfectly symmetric faces and it refl...

When fat is placed in the lip, it becomes trapped and does not move.  It is more likely your surgeon placed some in there as an aesthetic maneuver.  I find it easier to make separate stab sites in the mid-cheek to address the cheek.  I also address the lips from separate stab sites in the skin outside the corners.  It is so small that one cannot see the scars.  I can understand why they would be afraid of scarring, just not my experience.Dr. Zenn
