How To Get Your Boobs Closer Together?
The width between your boobs and how they sit on your chest wall is determined by your underlying anatomy (how your ribs and muscles are formed). A push up bra will create the same effect your hands are having.
If you want your boobs to be fuller in the cleavage area you could have fat grafting to that area, which would change the size only slightly. (Grant Stevens, MD, Los Angeles Plastic Surgeon)
How can I naturally bring my breasts closer together?
Without adding any volume, your best bet is to find a bra or clothing that does exactly what you are demonstrating with your hands in the photo.
Other options to increase fullness in the middle and upper parts of the breast include breast implants or transplanting fat into that area (from another part of your body).
However, these procedures will increase the size of your boobs. (Michelle Spring, MD, Los Angeles Plastic Surgeon)
Natural Way To Bring Breasts Closer Together
There’s no natural way to move the breast closer together. This phenomenon is usually related to the shape of the underlying boney chest wall. Correction would be difficult and associated with a high failure rate because the chest wall would remain unchanged. In most cases, the use of a good support bra would be the best solution. (Richard J. Bruneteau, MD, Omaha Plastic Surgeon)
Breast enhancement surgery really wouldn’t change your breast placement, especially not without implants. Even if you were to get implants, they would not be likely to give you the profile that you’re showing in the right-hand picture. For implants to look as natural and flattering as possible, they need to be centered relative to the nipple. Implants with subglandular placement might give you more pronounced cleavage, but that doesn’t mean the boobs will sit closer after surgery. If you aren’t interested in implants at all, then a good bra is really your best option for achieving the shape and profile you hope for. (Jeremy Pyle, MD, Raleigh-Durham Plastic Surgeon)
The most natural solution would be to go with the organic plastic surgery approach and transfer your own fat into the cleavage area to help some, alternatively a small implant might do the trick as well. (Mahlon Kerr, MD, FACS, Austin Plastic Surgeon)
Boobs do not naturally sit next to each other and point straight out. During breast augmentation, you can narrow the distance slightly. Overdoing this results in a problem called symmastia. A well fitted bra is the best way to achieve cleavage. (Stephen M. Chen, MD, Richmond Plastic Surgeon)
Unfortunately, you can’t accomplish boobs that are closer together and not change the size. There is no option that will allow this.
An implant would make them appear close together but would increase the size. So make your decision, carefully. (Dustin L. Reid, MD, Austin Plastic Surgeon)
There are options to increase your cleavage and make the boobs seem closer together. These would include the use of implants or fat grafts. However, all of the possible solutions make the size of your boobs larger.
There is no way to change the position of your boobs or narrow the distance between them without adding volume. My only suggestion to provide the look that you show with your hands would be to purchase a bra that does this. All other options will increase your breast size. (Jeffrey Rockmore, MD, Albany Plastic Surgeon)
The only way to make my breasts closer together would be with the use of a breast implant.
There are no medicinal options. Mechanical you can bring them closer together with the right bra.
A subfacial implant as opposed to submuscular placement affords a better approach to gain cleavage. (Todd B. Koch, MD, Buffalo Plastic Surgeon)
You have nice natural breasts; it is normal for natural breast to fall apart as you lay down.
There is not a surgical or medical correction for this, and don’t recommend you take any action. (J. Jason Wendel, MD, FACS, Nashville Plastic Surgeon)
The best non-surgical option to create a more rounded, fuller breast is a good push-up bra. If you are please with the overall shape and volume this is the best solution. (Rondi Kathleen Walker, MD, Washington Facial Plastic Surgeon)
Unfortunately, the easiest cure to your problem is Victoria’s Secret. It is impossible to bring them more together even with surgery. Implants need to be centered below the nipples and cannot be closer together. (Christopher J. Davidson, MD, FACS, Boston Plastic Surgeon)
I do not know of a natural way to do this. I think a good bra is your best bet. Some women tape their breasts together to achieve a similar look. (Asif Pirani, MD, FRCS(C), Toronto Plastic Surgeon)
Unfortunately the spacing of natural breasts is determined by a number of factors which can’t be altered surgically, at least without using implants, and even then it is not a sure thing. The best thing to do is find bras and swimsuits with padding that makes the breasts do what you want them to do. (Joseph L. Grzeskiewicz, MD, San Diego Plastic Surgeon)
Moving breasts closer together
The short answer is that there is no non-surgical way to move breasts closer together. There is not even a good surgical way to do it for cosmetic purposes. Fortunately your breasts are not far apart and have a normal gap between them.
They only look far apart when not upright and when there is nothing filling out the inner (medial) edge of your breast which you can see when you push them together. To fit and look right, a breast implant must fit to the true width of your breast and would give you steeper cleavage but not move them closer together.
The minimum volume or forward profile implant is called a low profile in saline-filled (Allergan only) but not called that in gels even though it’s the equivalent of a low profile (Mentor or Allergan). This would make your breasts look closer together and with a steeper cleavage but not actually move them. The size increase would be about a cup size.
If you cannot accept an implant and the one cup size increase, the only option I can think of would be fat grafting the medial edge of your breast. This is not yet considered standard treatment and has not been proven to have no effect on breast cancer in young women for cosmetic purposes. Therefore I cannot recommend it. A minimal forward volume implant of the correct width and positioning is the simplest solution. (Scott L. Replogle, MD, Denver Plastic Surgeon)
You may need a mastopexy or breast lift to reposition the breasts. Breast implants may also be required to improve the amount of cleavage that you have. (Jeffrey E. Schreiber, MD, FACS, Baltimore Plastic Surgeon)
