Dr. Cusic was raised in North Dakota and completed her undergraduate education at the University of North Dakota, earning the distinction of Summa Cum Laude. She graduated medical school from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine as the youngest in her class, receiving a multitude of honors, scholarships, and awards for scholastic achievement and research. Dr. Cusic then completed a six-year integrated plastic surgery residency training program at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Subsequently, her surgical training was further elevated through two surgical fellowships. She completed a distinguished one-year ASAPS (American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery) endorsed aesthetic surgery fellowship under expert Dr. Kiya Movassaghi in Oregon, as well as an esteemed one-year hand surgery fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX.
Dr. Cusic was first captivated by plastic surgery during middle school, which quickly transformed into her lifelong passion. She personally understands the impact that plastic and reconstructive surgery can impart on an individual. At a young age she underwent repair of an eyelid ptosis (drooping). After surgery she no longer had to “create the appearance of me every day, I was me.”
Dr. Tom Korkos had the opportunity to join his father in 1996 at which point they envisioned a citadel for cosmetic surgery, which became the Bluemound Cosmetic Surgical Center. This is where they have created a one-stop shop for all of your cosmetic surgical needs. He was certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 1998 and underwent re-certification in 2008 an 2018. Based on his large volume of cosmetic surgery cases he was accepted into the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in May of 2002 signifying excellence in cosmetic surgery care and outcomes. He has served on multiple professional boards and recently was the President of the Wisconsin Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is an appointed Clinical Associate Professor for the Medical College of Wisconsin Department of Plastic Surgery and Mock Oral Examiner, preparing residents to take their oral certification exams. His appointments also include Clinical Associate Professor for Marquette University College of Health Science where he helps train student physician assistants in plastic surgery and Clinical Instructor for the Medical College of Wisconsin Waukesha Family Practice Residency Program. He has a strong demand for lecturing throughout Southeastern Wisconsin on cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Korkos’ practice is quite diverse. His training allows him to offer services that include the entire scope of plastic and reconstructive surgery, 80% being cosmetic and 20% being reconstructive. He prides his practice on results and strives for excellence.
He is also an active participant in a collaboration with Youth Chef Academy and the Milwaukee Boys and Girls Clubs to promote healthy eating in an effort to reduce childhood obesity in Milwaukee. Dr. Blake also volunteers his time internationally each year in partnership with the F.A.C.E. foundation, performing cleft lip and palate surgery.
He has earned “Top Plastic Surgeon” by the Consumer Research Council of America, One of America’s Top Doctors by Castle Connolly and recipient of the “Patients Choice Award ”, and is quickly becoming a respected Plastic Surgeon in Wisconsin.
Dr. Blake has extensive experience in cosmetic surgery. He is the medical director of the Illume Cosmetic Surgery & MedSpa in Glendale, WI.
Dr. Blake specializes in Face/necklift, eyelid surgery, browlift, rhinoplasty, laser resurfacing, fat transfer, breast augmentation, breast lift, breast reduction, male breast reduction, abdominoplasty and liposuction. Dr. Blake utilizes the latest FDA approved techniques to offer patients both beautiful and natural looking results. You can expect Dr. Blake to spend time and listen to your individual needs, helping you choose the procedure that is right for you.
Dr. Bruce is a Brookfield native, graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin prior to completing his medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin. From there, he joined the United States Navy and served as a Diving Medical Officer in support of special operations training and deployments. Following this service, he completed his Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery residency at the prestigious University of Chicago Medicine where he trained with world-leaders in plastic, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgery.
Dr. Bruce offers a wide-range of cosmetic and restorative surgeries. He is devoted to educating, empowering, and listening to his patients.

I think you would be much happier with your results if you had a lift to go along with the aug. The aug will help with the volume loss you’re experiencing but you would still see the sagging as well. And over time that will not improve. It would also be hard to achieve any type of cleavage if you are seeking that. That said, an aug only would not be something that would look disfiguring by any means.

Do you have any photos of what you’re looking to achieve? That may help to assist. It’s hard to say something is ‘too big’ without knowing your personal preference.
If you are looking to fill simply the top of the breast you can explore a fat transfer as well, that may be an option that helps you achieve a much more targeted volume increase.

Every surgeon and anesthesiologist will have their own surgical protocol they develop. Therefore nobody here can tell you whether you will need to stop or not when having surgery with someone outside of their practice. That said, my personal protocol is to stop all medications 2 weeks prior to surgery as to not interfere with the administering of your general anesthesia.

Yes, you still could have surgery, even with a history of PE. We would take specific precautions to minimize the risk including medication, where we operated, and post operative care. I would also vehemently disagree with anyone suggesting smoking after surgery is appropriate, it will inhibit your body’s recovery process.

The determination for this will fall on your surgeon and your anesthesiologist. There is not universal agreement on what should or should not disqualify someone from surgery.
