Edward I. Lee, MD
Hundreds of patients seek out Dr. Lee’s expertise every year at his private practice, Nuveau Plastic Surgery and Medical Aesthetics, where he offers a diverse range of surgical and noninvasive treatment options with an emphasis on results. “Having completed numerous years of specialty training in the areas of plastic and reconstructive surgery, I can provide you with the results you desire and deserve,” says Dr. Lee.
He specializes in beautiful, natural-looking breast enhancements, along with body contouring procedures like tummy tucks, liposuction, Brazilian butt lifts, and complete mommy makeovers. He also has expertise in facial rejuvenation procedures, from facelifts, brow lifts, eyelid lifts (blepharoplasty), and rhinoplasty to nonsurgical options like Botox, dermal fillers, laser treatments, and Ultherapy.
Dr. Lee is also a specialist in Asian plastic surgery techniques, providing his patients with subtle, natural-looking changes that enhance their beauty while preserving their aesthetic heritage.
In the decade he has been in practice, Dr. Lee has been honored by numerous awards. He has been named one of Houston’s Top Doctors in H Texas magazine each year since 2017 and a Super Doctor since 2016.
Dr. Lee earned his medical degree from the renowned Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where he also completed his plastic surgery residency. He then pursued a fellowship in craniofacial and pediatric plastic surgery.
To hone his mastery of Asian plastic surgery, Dr. Lee traveled overseas to study at Linkou, Taiwan’s Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, as well as several prestigious plastic surgery clinics in Seoul, South Korea.
He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
In addition to his work at Nuveau Plastic Surgery, Dr. Lee has been a guest editor for Seminars in Plastic Surgery, has served on the plastic surgery faculty at Baylor College of Medicine as an assistant professor, and is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
He has also traveled abroad on medical missions with organizations such as Operation Smile and Smile Train, to help correct congenital deformities, like cleft lip and palate in communities in Cambodia, Haiti, and Thailand.
Dr. Lee is multilingual and speaks conversational Spanish, in addition to being fluent in Korean.
