Any vaginal surgery, but especially a vaginoplasty, causes swelling or edema due to the lasering or suturing of the tissue. This edema will resolve, but it does so slowly over several weeks. Continue your recommended post operative care and be a bit more patient. If you develop increasing pain or get a fever, call your surgeon in order to be evaluated. Good luck!

A Labiaplasty is generally a cosmetic procedure and the ultimate outcome is truly a personal choice. Your anatomy appears quite normal, you’ve healed well, but the decision to reduce the labia and or clitoral hood further is up to you and no one else. Good luck!

You can certainly lose 35lbs in 3 months, but it must be done in a way that is able to be continued consistently, otherwise you’ll just gain that weight back. The four pillars of our program is nutrition, water, sleep and movement. If you can’t get it done correctly, reset your goal or timeline.

Both techniques have their advantages and disadvantages. They also have different cosmetic results. While both reduce the amount of labia and create a more desired profile, the wedge has less scar and the trim eliminates the rugated edges leaving a more youthful appearance.

Sensitivity after a Labiaplasty that exposes the clitoris either by resecting a portion of the clitoral hood (“clitoroplasty”) or because of generalized swelling of the clitoris is not permanent and should resolve. If there is extensive bruising in this area though, please see your surgeon as soon as possible! Warm soaks or moist heat with a coating of desitin should help.
