No need to be alarmed, this is normal following this type of breast procedure. Give it a few weeks and you’ll start to notice it will smooth out and you should hopefully see great results. Remember to follow your surgeons post operative instructions during the healing process for best results.

As you’ve experienced, “mini” procedures are just that, “mini” and don’t reflect great change for most patients that are on the receiving end. Patient’s don’t realize that there is more to improving the neck area than just removing a little bit of excess skin. Congratulations on weight loss after your pregnancy! I would encourage you to be a close to your goal weight as possible. You are certainly a great candidate for an extended tummy tuck and liposuction of the flanks or an around-the-world tummy tuck, depending on your posterior skin as well as your budget. Meeting w/a board certified PS would be most beneficial to further discuss all of your options and get you to the body you so desire.

Although exercising is encouraged following cosmetic procedures, be sure to discuss this w/your surgeon and get cleared prior to moving forward. Most need to ease back in to exercising as the body is still healing. Normally, I release my patients somewhere between 6-8 weeks and have them start out slowly and build their way back to full capacity.

I tell my patients approximately 1-2 weeks before you’re standing upright. Listen to your body and take it easy the first few weeks. What you’re feeling is normal during the healing process and remember, abdominoplasty is typically an aggressive surgery and your body needs time to heal to ensure great results. You’ve invested the money for the procedure now invest the time to heal. You’ll be up and moving around quickly and feeling better in no time.

You would certainly benefit from a face-to-face consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options. However, based on your photo’s, my recommendation would be bilateral mastopexies, resecting more tissue from the right and placing implants to obtain better symmetry.

Don’t worry about the silicone! We use silicone to treat your scars after surgery…look at your deodorant-it has silicone in it.
