The most effective option for skin tightening is surgical removal of the excess skin. I see you are specifically referring to the abdominal area this would generally be a tummy tuck or in some cases only a mini tummy tuck is needed. CoolSculpting is a fat reduction device and does not provide skin tightening.

Although I cannot comment on the device you are using at home as it is not something we recommend to our patients. I can comment on laser hair removal. Once treated with laser hair removal, treated hair may take up to 4 weeks, or in some cases, as little as a few days to fall out following treatment. Do not be alarmed if hairs appear to be “growing” during this time.

Coolsculpting is an excellent treatment to help reduce unwanted volume in the arms caused by excess fat tissue. However, if you have loose skin before treatment you may find it more noticeable after as there is less volume and more skin is left hanging. I would recommend you seek a consultation with a plastic surgeon to address surgical options for removing excess skin, to achieve the firmer arm look you are seeking.

There is no reason you cannot return to swimming once fully healed from your Halo laser treatment. We advise patients to avoid skin irritants on the treated area for one month after Halo. After one month you should be able to safely swim again. However let your skin be your guide if your skin becomes irritated you may need to wait longer.
