Your comments sound like the normal healing process after lip injections. The bruising is already subsiding and the lumpy feeling will also go away with time. It always looks more natural in about 4 weeks. I had my own lips injected and experienced just what you describe.It is always best to be examined by your doctor , if you remain concerned. There are injections available to remove lumps, but that likely will not be necessary.

Thank you for your question. Dry skin, peeling and skin darkening are all common side effects of a Vi Peel. This can usually last about a week. The skin darkening may last a little longer depending on the severity of your hyperpigmentation. Just be patient and keep your skin hydrated. Best of luck to you.

Latisse for acne scars? What do you recommend please?

Latisse is used for the eye lid area and for the promotion of hair growth. I would not recommend using it on other parts of the face especially after a laser treatment. There are many great alternatives for the treatment of acne scars. I recommend following up with an experienced skin care provider. Best of luck to you.

In the event of a thermal event the applicator is removed and treatment is postponed. There was no harm or benefit in this situation. The treatment area needs to be treated again at the full 45 minutes to get an accurate treatment.

Everyone's situation is unique. What type of implants do you have?- Saline or Silicone filled? -smooth or textured? I routinely remove saline filled implants in the office under local anesthesia to minimize patient cost and risk. Keep in mind that the biologic capsule can not be removed in this setting. I leave a small drain overnight to collapse the biologic capsule.
My patients do very well with this protocol.

Thank you for your question and concern for your skin. First I would recommend a good at home physician dispensed product line like ZO Medical. I would then incorporate some in office treatments like Microdermabrasion and Microneedling. Botox and Fillers would also help with fine lines and decrease the fullness in nasal folds. I recommend that you make an appointment with a board certified Plastic Surgeon to review your options. It is difficult to fully diagnose the problem from a single photo. A full tummy tuck would be a great option, however some revision liposuction with fat grafting might also be an option.

You should call your surgeon for a follow up appointment . The lump could be some swollen fat which usually resolves over time or it could be a fluid collection (seroma) that can easily be drained.

You raise a good question with no correct answer. In my opinion, I would discuss the areolar reduction with your surgeon. The photo shows that your areolae are already large for your current breast size and your first words were " I HATE the size of my areolas" The breast augmentation may increase the size further. My preferred method of breast augmentation is under the muscle. Although bottoming out is a possible complication, it is very rare. I would not let that fear hold up your decision. Choose a size that is not too large for your frame. This will further minimize the risk.

It is best to check with your surgeon. Our protocol after breast augmentation under the muscle is to request that patients refrain from exercise for 4 to 6 weeks after surgery. At 5 weeks postoperative, 5 pound weights should be fine.

My prorocol for Bodytite is to give a narcotic pill about 30 minutes prior to the procedure. This makes the infusion of tumescent local anesthesia easier for the patient. Postoperatively, most patients don"t need medication for pain. Tylenol should be fine. Do not take Aleve or any other anti-inflammatory medicine as this may increase bruising.
