This mommy had a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) with fascial plication (muscle tightening) and progressive tension suturing. Notice the following:
1) The effects of the fascial plication in narrowing the torso and the width of the rectus muscles (six pack muscles).
2) The amount of skin removal allowed by progressive tension suturing with a removal of all excess tissues from the navel to the pubis.
3) The fine incisional repair which is still slightly red and healing. Will be faded at one year.
