This is a 70-year-old female who presented to our office with concerns regarding prominent tear troughs and dermatochalasis of her bilateral lower eyelids. She felt that the puffiness of her lower eyelids had become much larger over the last several years. Despite several interventions, including creams and medications, she had not noticed any big change. She also had a history of an upper blepharoplasty approximately a year ago.
To help her achieve her goals, a lower blepharoplasty with skin resection, fat redraping, and a lateral canthopexy was performed.
This patient is 1 month postoperative and is very pleased with her results. She still has some residual swelling and bruising but is healing very well overall.
