This is a 51-year-old female who presented to our office for evaluation of dermatochalasis (excess upper eyelid skin). It had been present for several years and was progressively getting worse. She did not have any field of vision changes due to her excess upper eyelid skin.
Upper eyelid rejuvenation with blepharoplasty was performed. During this procedure, excess skin and medial fat pads were resected. The central fat pads were not resected to avoid hollowing of the area.
This patient is 7 weeks post-op and is incredibly happy with her results. Her incisions are healing very well.
