This mommy had a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) with fascial plication (muscle tightening) and progressive tension suturing. Notice the following:
1) The effects of the fascial plication in narrowing the torso and the width of the rectus muscles (six pack muscles).
2) The amount of skin removal allowed by progressive tension suturing with a lowering of her extensive stretch marks. (The remaining are unfortunately impossible to remove). A small vertical repair required to address excess skin that used to be above the naval.
3) The fine incisional repair which is still slightly red and healing.
